U16 and U18 Club Super 6s Finals Review

The U16 Girls Clubs National Indoor Finals took place on 14 January 2023 at Nottingham University.

There were 17 games played and 76 goals scored. The top goalscorer was Biba Mills who scored 16 goals over 5 games. The clubs involved were:

  • Pool C – Alderley Edge, Knole Park, Lansdown, and Wakefield
  • Pool D – Cambridge City, London Wayfarers, Marlow, and Repton

After the pool games and semi-finals, the final came down to Knole Park and Repton. Knole Park scored first in this thrilling 6-1 final, with an impressive Knole Park finishing as the 2023 winners, retaining their trophy from 2022.


The U16 Boys Clubs Finals also took place on 14 January 2023 at Nottingham University.

Over the 17 games 95 goals were scored, with the top goal scorer, Linus Frankhof from Repton, scoring 8 goals. The competing clubs were:

  • Pool A – Brooklands MU, Harrogate, Repton and Surbiton
  • Pool B – Epsom, Old Loughtonians, Trojans, and Wotton Under Edge Hockey Club.

The final came down to Surbiton and Epsom. With Epsom taking the early lead in the first half, Surbiton came back in the last few minutes, but Epsom held on to come out on top with a 3-2 win.


The U18 Girls Clubs Finals took place on 15 January 2023 at Nottingham University. The clubs involved were:

  • Pool C – Cheltenham, Ipswich, Knole Park and Repton.
  • Pool D – Brooklands Poynton, Surbiton, Marlow and Wakefield.

76 goals were scored over 17 games. The top goal scorer was Annabel Cheveley from Knole Park with a total of 9 goals.

The final came down to Knole Park and Surbiton. After a tense first half, Knole Park scored 2 goals to seal their victory in the 2023 competition and keep their title from 2022.


The U18 Boys Clubs Finals also took place on 15 January 2023 at Nottingham University. The clubs competing were:

  • Pool A – Bowdon, Doncaster, Old Loughtonians, and Winchester
  • Pool B – Clifton Robinsons, Repton, Sevenoaks and Surbiton.

Over 17 games, 85 goals were scored, and the joint top goal scorers were, George Fletcher from Repton, Ted Graves from Bowdon and Oliver Lander from Winchester - all scoring 7 goals.

The final was between Old Loughtonians and Bowdon. Old Loughtoanians scored the first goal, but Bowdon brought it back, ending the score 4-1, with Bowdon becoming the 2023 Champions.
