U14 State School Festivals

There is an opportunity for your school to enter a team into a hockey State School festival.  The festivals are for State School only teams made up of 7 players on the pitch at any one time, with a maximum squad of 10 players at U14 age group.  We run 2 separate festivals, one for boys teams and one for girls teams.

What are the benefits of the State School Festival? 

• It provides players with a fun competition on one set day within your area. 
• It offers players the chance to represent their school in a friendly competition. 
• It gives players a chance to be part of a team and enjoy the social element. 

We are working with Counties and Areas closely to arrange festival dates across the Country as well as hosting an England Hockey National Festival across 2 days:-

Thursday 27 March 2025 – Tier 1 festival - for schools who have experience of entering teams into competitions locally or nationally

Friday 28 March 2025 – Tier 2 festival - for schools who have less experience or who are just starting out playing hockey

Your school are able to enter a team into any of the above and are not restricted to entering just a local festival or a National one – if you can get a team together for both it would be great to see you!
