Talent Academy Tender Process Open for Application

England Hockey are delighted to share more information about the application process and timeline for organisations aspiring to host an England Hockey recognised Talent Academy from September 2025.

Talent Academies began delivery in September 2022 with 17 club hosted and four England Hockey led programmes. This network has grown to 24 for 2024-5. There has been a huge amount of progress and learning since 2022 and individually and collectively the Talent Academy programmes have grown and have developed.

As we plan for the 2025-28 licensing period it is essential to recognise this progress whilst also providing the opportunity for new hosts to join the network.

We anticipate awarding licenses split across the England Hockey Areas as below, recognising that the location of a host close to an Area boundary may change this ratio.

The closing date for organisations to apply to host a Talent Academy is: Sunday 2nd February 2025.

During January we are hosting two optional online information sessions for prospective hosts:

• · 19.00- 20.00 on Wednesday 8th January 2025
