Support England's Future Talent By Getting Involved With SportsAid's #MyMiles Challenge
It's been fantastic to see how clubs have come together to raise money for charity over the last 15 months and now SportsAid are hoping you will be able to do so once again to help support the country's finest young talents.
The charity are launching the #MyMiles project, taking place during SportsAid Week from 21-26 September, and are hoping to raise £45,000 to continue their fantastic work helping the talented children on their programme continue to train and hopefully realise their ambitions of becoming professional athletes.
So why not get involved, set up your own challenge and get sponsored to help them with their mission? There are no limits as to what you can do, so long as it's linked to the numbers 45, 450, 4,500 or even 45,000. That could be running 45 laps of your club's pitch, scoring 450 goals during a training session, completing 4,500 keepie uppies or even completing 45,000 steps during a training session.
With three months until SportsAid week, there's plenty of time to get your thinking caps on and come up with the toughest or most unique challenge out there. England Hockey can't wait to see your efforts.
