Super 6s Senior Championships set to begin

Sixty men’s and women’s teams will be lining up this weekend as the Super 6s Premier, 1 & 2 divisions start in multiple locations across England.  With 2 weekends of matches 7-8 & 14-15 January, promotion and relegation is at stake, as well at the chance in the Premier Division to make it to the Copper Box Arena for final’s day on 29 January and ultimately qualify for Europe.

In the Premier Divisions East Grinstead’s women and Wimbledon’s men will be looking to retain their titles won in 2022.  Promoted to the Premier divisions for this season are Surbiton and Sevenoaks women, and Old Georgians and University of Exeter men.   
 
With lots of clubs taking to the opportunity to strengthen their indoor squads by transferring in a couple of players, some of the more noticeable moves include :  ex-GB and England captain Adam Dixon to Team Bath Buccaneers,  Alan Forsyth and Ollie Willars to Old Georgians, Spanish international Manuel Prol to Wimbledon, German international Sonja Zimmerman to Repton and Sally Walton returning to play for Bowdon Hightown.
