Involved in officiating? Have your say in our new survey

England Hockey is inviting the entire Officiating Family to participate in the biggest survey of Hockey Umpires in England to date. Everyone who is involved in Umpiring, Umpire Coaching, Umpire Assessing, Umpire Administration, Match Officiating and Club Umpire Development across the entire Officiating Community to have their say and take part in this important online survey.

The overarching aim of the survey is to listen to the officiating community and to shape the future of Hockey Officiating. By undertaking comprehensive research activities into the issues surrounding officials and producing practical solutions which can support England Hockey and the subsequent Area Officiating Committees in the recruitment, retention and development of the entire Officiating Community.

As a thank you for completing the Survey we have a number of giveaways, Including EHO Shirts, Umpire Card Wallets and Whistles, which will be generated at random following the close of the survey, we will be in touch with the winners in the week commencing 19 December.

The survey is for all Hockey Officials including Umpires, Match Officials and all other officiating positions. It covers a range of topics that will help us assess a baseline position along with existing data, plus give officials the chance to shape the future.

The Survey will close 5pm Friday 16 December 2022.
