How To Follow The Action At Tokyo 2020

With 76 matches taking place across 14 days, there will be a plethora of hockey to watch at Tokyo 2020.

With Great Britain hoping to feature in up to 16 of those games, we hope there will be plenty of action for you to feast upon.

Check out our guide below to see how you can watch, listen to and follow GB's men and women across the Olympics.

BBC

The BBC's TV coverage will run throughout the morning and evenings on BBC One, BBC Two, iPlayer and the red button. They will also be streaming these channels and some other events on the BBC Sport website and app whilst there will also be plenty of radio commentary available on BBC 5Live Sport each day.

We are still awaiting official confirmation as to how exactly the BBC will be broadcasting the GB Hockey matches but we hope they will be showing a number of them live whilst also providing ways of watching the games later in the day.

We will keep you updated on their coverage as and when we have more information.

Eurosport

Eurosport will be broadcasting every single sport across the entire Tokyo 2020 Olympics on their regular E1 and E2 channels alongside seven pop-up channels (E3-E9) which you can access via the red button, programme guide or on their website.

They will be showing every Great Britain match live, most likely on their 'Team Sports' pop-up channel (E5).

You can watch via your digital TV provider. For those of you who don't currently have a subscription, they are offering a £6.99 monthly pass.

We will provide further updates on whether the matches will be available to view after they've been completed when we know more.

Discovery+

As the owners of Eurosport, Discovery will also be showing every minute of Olympic action on their Discovery+ streaming platform. You can filter what you want to watch by sport or country.

All of Great Britain's matches will be streamed on their website or app. As with Eurosport, you can also buy a monthly pass if you haven't already subscribed to the service.

Please also check with your mobile, broadband or digital TV provider for free access - we believe Discovery+ is free for Sky Q and Vodafone customers.

We will provide further updates on whether the matches will be available to view after they've been completed when we know more.

GB Hockey

As with all our international matches, we will be providing regular updates on each Great Britain match via our Twitter and Instagram pages. We will also share as much content as we can, including any highlights or post-match interviews that may be uploaded.

You can also follow minute-by-minute updates on our dedicated Match Centre - head over to their home page and check out the 'Fixtures' block to find the centre dedicated to each game.
