FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar – Rourkela, Group Stage Matches Released.

The Group Stage schedule has been released for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023, which starts in January.

England’s first game will be played at the brand-new Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on 13 January 2023, where they will face fellow home nation Wales for a ‘local derby.’ The game will be played at 11:30 UK time and will kickstart England’s World Cup tournament.

Next England will face hosts India at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on 15 January 2023 at 13:30 local time. The final group stage game for England will occur at the multi-purpose, 15,000-seater Kalinga Stadium of Bhubaneswar, at 11:30 local time and they will face Spain.

The ticket sales for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela will start shortly. However, all fans are encouraged to pre-register their interest by filling the following form: https://fih.formstack.com/forms/world_cup_tickets_pre_registration  

The draw held on 8 September in Bhubaneswar determined the four Pools as follows:
Pool A: Australia, Argentina, France, South Africa
Pool B: Belgium, Germany, Korea, Japan
Pool C: Netherlands, New Zealand, Malaysia, Chile
Pool D: India, England, Spain, Wales
