EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup Men 2023 Cancelled

In conjunction with the Türkiye Hockey Federation and host club Gaziantep Polisgücü SK, the EHF has taken the decision to cancel the men’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup which was due to be played in Alanya from February 17 to 19, 2023.

The decision was taken in light of the tragic earthquake in Türkiye and Syria and its ongoing impact in the region.

“On behalf of the EHF, we offer our heartfelt condolences and support to the Türkiye hockey family, and the country as a whole, who have been deeply affected by this horrific disaster this week,” said EHF President Marijke Fleuren.

“We will continue to work with the Türkiye Hockey Federation to see what help we can provide at this tragic time."

A decision will be made in due course on the feasibility to play the women’s EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup - also scheduled for Alanya - from February 24 to 26, 2023.

Wimbledon Hockey Club qualified for the competition after winning the Super 6s Indoor Finals in London at the end of January.
