England to face Korea in knockout stages

England will face Korea in the crossover stage of the FIH Hockey Women's World Cup.

The game will take place on Sunday 10 July at 5pm UK time, live on BT Sport.

Having played their pool matches in the Netherlands, England now travel to Spain for all of their remaining games; flying out on Friday afternoon.

The winner of Sunday's match will face Pool C winners Argentina in a quarter final on Wed 13 July. 

Losers play a classification match against on Mon 11 July, as well as another classification match on Wednesday against Canada, Spain or India.

Sunday's game against Korea will mark a number of milestones in the squad, most notably an incredible 300th England / Great Britain appearance for Laura Unsworth; the only British hockey player to have won three Olympic medals.

Also reaching milestones will be Shona McCallin (50 England caps) and Tess Howard (50 combined caps).

England also faced Korea in the crossover stage of the last FIH Hockey Women's World Cup in London, winning 2-0 at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.
