England Hockey Selection Day for Hockey ID Players

England Hockey Intellectual Disability Team (ID) will be hosting an open selection day on: 
 
4^th December, 11:00am-15:00pm at England Hockey, Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, SL7 1RR. 

Selections will be made for a combined Great Britain Special Olympics team to go to Berlin in June 2023 for the Special Olympics World Games and an England team to go to the European Hockey Federation Para Championships in August 2023.

We are encouraging new clubs, new players, greater representation of women, and goalkeepers. Players that have been selected previously are of course welcome to attend, but this will not guarantee selection. All players attending will need to be 18 by 31^st December 2022 and if selected will have to achieve Special Olympics NES (National Eligibility Status) for intellectual impairment which includes: IQ of 75 or below, significant limitations in adaptive behaviour and impairment present before age 18.
