England and GB Hockey announce Eisberg Alcohol Free Wine as sponsor

Europe’s leading alcohol-free wine brand, Eisberg, has been announced as the official alcohol-free wine sponsor and supplier of England and GB Hockey in an agreement spanning two years.

The move into hockey follows a successful trial campaign in 2024 and recent insight, conducted by the brand, that shows growth in male and female drinkers moving towards a sober curious approach, with a focus on their health and fitness.

Kicking off this month with the beginning of the Super 6s championship, over the period of the partnership Eisberg and England and GB hockey will partner to share the benefits of mindful drinking to the large and growing hockey community, as well as sports fans generally,  through brand presence at major events, social amplification, sampling, unique promotions for hockey clubs and engagement with England and GB’s hockey stars.

The partnership between England and GB Hockey and Channel 4 for 2025 aims to showcase one of the world’s most exciting sports to a wider UK audience and provides Eisberg an engaged audience of health and sports enthusiasts.

Nick Pink England and GB Hockey CEO commented: “England and GB Hockey are pleased to announce a new partnership with Eisberg, one of the UK’s leading Alcohol Free brands and an innovator in the category.

“This partnership aligns with our commitment to performance and wellbeing.

“England and GB Hockey and Eisberg share a goal to create a positive impact both on and off the pitch while increasing our visibility to new audiences, and we look forward to celebrating this partnership over the next two years, and beyond.”

Dan Harwood, Managing Director for SW Wines Europe, producers of Eisberg, said: “It’s going to be a great few years for England and GB Hockey and this sponsorship is a really exciting milestone in the progression of the brand and helps us connect people looking to moderate their drinking with a great product.

“This long term agreement reflects Eisberg’s growth in the UK and our commitment to helping drinkers understand that there is an option for them - any glass, any place, whatever their interests.”
