EHL Premier Division Phase Two Preview

The Women's EHL Premier Division restarts this weekend. The teams take their place in Phase Two in the Top or Lower Sixes depending on their standings at the end of Phase One.
For the teams in the Top Six there is a prize of a European place for the team top going into the finals phase which culminate in finals weekend at Nottingham Hockey Centre on 3-4 May. You can buy your tickets for Finals weekend HERE.
In the Lower Six there are still two finals phase places up for grabs as well as needing points on the board to avoid relegation.
The full structure, which has been successfully played for the past three seasons is here.

Hampstead & Westminster, who clinched top place beating Reading in the last game before the break start by hosting Loughborough Students who finished sixth thanks to a three game winning streak. Third plays second as reigning champions Surbiton meet Reading, a side they haven’t beaten since October 2022 . Fresh from indoor success, both domestically and on the European stage East Grinstead travel to Wimbledon who are looking to extend a seven match unbeaten run.
Clifton Robinsons who are top of the Lower Six travel to Bowdon who will be trying to halt a five match losing streak. There’s an all-student match up as Birmingham play Nottingham, the teams having drawn 2-2 back in October and the bottom two meet with Sutton Coldfield travelling to Holcombe, a team who they took their only point to date from in a 1-1 draw.
The full Men's Premier Division programme kicks off next week but there is one game this Saturday in the Lower Six with Cardiff & Met playing Southgate to avoid a double header later in the month.
