Coaching Festival Of Hockey
It is less than two weeks to go until Great Britain Hockey launch their summer Festival of Coaching from 4 to the 18 June.
If this is the first time you have heard about this event then here is the lowdown on what to expect!

A jam packed two weeks of learning and insights facilitated by special and expert guests. We are excited to have the following names joining us:
- Katie Glynn - GB and England Women’s assistant coach
- Kwan Browne - GB and England Men’s assistant coach
- Lisa Letchford - Lead Talent Coaches and Head Coach for England U16 Girls
- Mark Bateman - Lead Talent Coaches and Head Coach for England U18 Boys
- Karen Brown - Great Britain Coach Developer and former Assistant Coach of Great Britain’s Olympic Gold Medal Team
- Russell Earnshaw – Great Britain Coach Developer and Magic Academy
- Plus many more
30 hours of learning including 16 online seminars, or if you can’t make these events live we will also be sharing the recordings for you to watch back after the event. The seminars with cover a number of different topics for coaches of children, club and talent including:
- Penalty Corner Attack/Defence
- Outletting Options
- Coaching Man to Man vs Zonal Defence
- Video Analysis
- Developing Goalkeepers
- Strength and Conditioning
There is also the option to purchase a ticket to include a face to face event and join us live at an International Junior Training Day. Hear live insights and interactions with the on pitch coaches, observe the Talent System Framework in action, plus network with GB Coach Developers and other coaches. These days are running on Saturday 11 June across 5 different venues around the country
