Coaches Wanted

Oxford Hockey Club are looking for coaches

For the following roles:

• A Women's club coach working with teams from 3s-7s

• A Men's club coach working with teams from 3s-7s 

• Helping to administer and coach on our Schools Outreach programme in local state schools. With delivery on specific afternoon slots.

Club coaching will be on specific evenings throughout the week, usually Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. There may be further opportunities to work with our elite junior players in an Academy setting as part of our intended Talent Centre provision.

For those interested there are also additional coaching roles available at partner schools. The club has a strong link with Headington School- who currently have a coaching vacancy: https://publications.headington.org/vacancies/hockey-coach

Roles may also be available at Oxford Brookes University and on holiday hockey camps.

With all the roles above, for the right candidate, there is the ability to combine a number of these jobs to create a full week of coaching work.

Oxford HC is based in central Oxford and has strong links with Oxford Brookes University. The club has a diverse range of players from junior to senior levels. With 7 Men’s and 7 Women’s teams across the South Central leagues, there is space for all levels and abilities. Both 1st XIs are in South Central Premier 1, promotion would mean a place in the National Leagues. There is a thriving junior section, which has recently seen both Regional and National level success.
