Club Head Coach for 24/25 Season
Ocean City Hockey Club are a friendly club based in Plymouth, with a Mens, Womens and Junior section. Offering hockey from 5 to 75, we pride ourselves on inclusivity and a family ethos.
We currently run 4 men's teams and 5 women's teams, and have a lots of volunteers within the club to help with coaching. However we are missing a club head coach, with a particular focus needed for the men's coaching.
Deliverables of the Role
- Overall strategy for coaching across the club
- Delivery of Men's Training sessions, Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm between September and April.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and communication to engage all players.
- Coaching Qualification (Equivalent to England Hockey Level 2) is desirable or a willingness to complete this.
- Experience of coaching at a similar level and aptitude to liaise with team captains to guide training.
- Right to live and work in the UK
This is a paid role, which the club are happy to discuss rates for depending on experience offered.
