Why complete ClubMark?
Following the consultation with clubs on “What Makes a Great Club?” combined with Sport England’s review of all things ClubMark, England Hockey have devised a hockey specific accreditation system.
The ClubMark process has been designed to help create a safe and positive environment for club members and to ensure hockey clubs are operating within the minimum operating standards.
What is the purpose?
England Hockey’s ClubMark scheme is a tool for clubs to check that they have the basics in place.
A hockey club that actively engages in the ClubMark process will ensure happier, better players in a sustainable and vibrant club environment.
The benefits
The benefits of a hockey club completing ClubMark are both widespread and varied. These include:

- ensuring a safe environment for all club members
