It can be easy to forget that Izzy is still so young, such is the way she has adapted to international hockey and the maturity she shows each time she plays.

She scored a memorable first goal for GB against Germany in the FIH Pro League before making her England debut at the 2019 EuroHockey Championships, finding the target against Belarus.

Izzy then scored a solo wonder goal to help Great Britain qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics before featuring prominently as she helped them win a bronze medal at the Games. A year later she won Commonwealth Games gold in Birmingham.

A product of Surbiton and Cranleigh school and with more than 50 England U16 and U18 appearances to her name, Petter’s rise to the top has certainly been rapid and she shows no signs of slowing up anytime soon.
